Operating from its base in Shildon, County Durham, for over 40 years, the Bignall Group has built a reputation for providing innovative engineering solutions for a wide range of products and industries. The Group itself consists of 3 brands with a breadth of capability from initial product design support through to production solutions with onsite verification with its various companies.
Design, Prototype and Low to Medium Volume solutions are supported through the Shildon Manufacturing brand with subcontract machine shop services (such as CAD/CAM design, CNC Milling & Turning, 3D Printing & CMM measurement).
Then into production: assembly solutions can be trailed and supported through the experienced teams which also produce their own respective products. These include Automated Lubrication Systems through the Masterlube Systems brand and Toilet Cubicle Hardware through the Cobtec brand.
Since its humble beginnings in road haulage, this Group has diversified and proven itself to provide sound technical support to its global customer base. Additionally the Bignall Group has recently developed a number of solutions to help battle the COVID-19 crisis, including face visors for caregivers and keyworkers along with screens for fitment to vans to help the country prepare to start returning to work, both projects going from concept to customer in a matter of days.
