ERP software provider, E-Max Systems, today announced that founding partner and current Technical Director, Charles Kerr, has been appointed E-Max Managing Director. Kerr, who previously designed and developed the on-premise solutions, E-Max ERP, and its MRP predecessor, RM6, has recently completed the project to develop a cloud-based version of E-Max ERP.
Kerr established E-Max Systems with Emilio Fazzi in 1998, having identified a lack of suitable MRP solutions for manufacturing and engineering SMEs. E-Max software is now used in hundreds of such companies across the UK and internationally. Fazzi, who previously held the role of Managing Director until stepping back earlier this year, will remain in his role as Chairman.
Kerr said, “I am delighted to be taking on the role of Managing Director of E-Max Systems. It is an exciting time with the formal launch of our new cloud ERP solution in January 2022. The entire company has been working towards this goal for some time and we are thrilled to be able to present our existing, and future, customers with this alternative deployment option.
“Adding a cloud option to our product suite will consolidate E-Max’s position as a leading provider of manufacturing ERP software, and provide greater stability to the business, and our customers. Working in partnership with our customers to develop solutions that genuinely meet their needs is a fundamental part of our business and we will continue to engage with our customers, seeking feedback on product enhancements and additional functionality.
“I am excited to be steering E-Max through this next chapter. With the support of our highly motivated and experienced team, we will ensure the company achieves its full potential as the go-to provider for manufacturing ERP software.”
