We’re delighted to announce that E-Max Systems has recently achieved Cyber Essentials accreditation. As we all increasingly rely on digital technology, maintaining robust cybersecurity for our own and our customers’ data is a key priority of ours. The attainment of Cyber Essentials is another milestone in this journey and a testament to our team’s commitment to cybersecurity.

The UK Cyber Essentials accreditation is a Government-backed scheme designed to help organisations protect themselves against common online threats. It is made up of a set of technical controls that have been identified as being critical in an organisation’s ability to protect themselves against such online security threats. The Cyber Essentials certification is also mandatory for businesses supplying products and services to some Government departments, such as the Ministry of Defence and HMRC.

Any organisation, of any size and in any sector, can apply to become cyber certified under the scheme. As a company that manages our customers’ data every day, it is critical to have controls in place to protect this. Whilst E-Max already met all the requirements prior to undertaking the Cyber Essentials process, having this certification provides a clear picture of where we stand in terms of cyber security and offers further peace of mind to existing and future users of our ERP software.

However, now that we have achieved the UK Cyber Essentials accreditation, we won’t be resting on our laurels! Our commitment to protecting the security of customer data, our own product security and integrity and reducing any vulnerabilities is stronger than ever.

Fraser Walker, Operations Director at E-Max Systems noted, “We are proud to have achieved the UK Cyber Essentials accreditation. It demonstrates our commitment to cybersecurity and our customers’ safety. Our team work very hard, every day, to protect against unwanted security threats and this certification further validates these efforts.
